Colorado Union of Taxpayers Foundation (CUT Foundation) is a separate 501(c)3 organization devoted to providing non-partisan education to the public about the financial impact of issues being decided by the government and voters. Contributors can make tax deductible donations to further this urgently needed educational effort.
CUT Foundation Mission
The Mission of the Colorado Union of Taxpayers Foundation is to develop and distribute educational materials for the citizens of Colorado about the performance of their elected state and local officials and about the fiscal impact of issues being decided by officials.
The Colorado Union of Taxpayers Foundation came into being from the coordinated efforts of many Colorado citizens who perceived a need, throughout the Colorado population, for a greater source of non-partisan information about their government’s performance.
The CUT Foundation promotes the interests of all Colorado citizens through news releases, bulletins, and radio ads. The CUT Foundation representatives provides information to benefit the whole population through its many public activities. Current CUT Foundation projects that help to educate citizens include:
Educating the citizens of Colorado about the cost of government and the fiscal impact of proposed actions and encouraging the citizens of Colorado to seek fiscally responsible government.
The CUT Foundation provides essential information that informed citizens need to participate effectively in the civic process.
