2025 Legislative Kick-Off

January 23, 5:30 PM | $10 a Ticket

The University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business recently released its 60th Annual Colorado Business Economic Outlook which notes that Colorado’s economic growth fell from 5th in the nation to 41st. Why? Coloradans are overtaxed, over-regulated, and governments at the local, county, and state level have grown too big and overreaching.

You are busy and you need tools in your toolbox to know what is going on in Colorado. Then join the Colorado Union of Taxpayers (CUT) to know what is happening at the state legislature. The all-volunteer board of CUT does the heavy lifting of watching all the bills scheduled for hearing at the Capitol and takes positions on bills regarding taxes, property rights, school choice, and TABOR. You can choose the issues that keep you up at night and you’ll have the understanding to become involved in public policy that affects you and your family’s lives.

The Colorado Union of Taxpayers (CUT) is an all-volunteer group advocating for you, the taxpayer. Membership is just $25.00 per year and you will receive our weekly email that is sent to the governor and state legislators regarding our positions on much of the legislation that is slated for hearing each week. For $2.08 a month, you will be privy to hundreds of hours of analysis by the all-volunteer CUT Board.

And be sure to join us Thursday, January 23rd at CADA (Colorado Automobile Dealers Association), 290 East Speer, 5:30pm MT for our legislative kick-off. You’ll have the opportunity to talk with legislators regarding the 2025 Colorado legislative session. See you on January 23rd!
